This transformation has brought forth not only the significant opportunities in vibrant start-up ecosystem but also poised to persist through the emergence of various technologies in domestic industry in the areas including Electronics Design and Manufacturing, Semiconductors, Automotive, Computing, Communications, Strategic Electronics, Industrial Electronics, AI & ML, IoT etc.
Digital India futureLABS, is conceived to move up the value-chain & fortify domestic R&D by creating a collaborative ecosystem for development of IPs, Standards and catalyzing next-generation Electronics System Design ecosystem in the country by enabling co-development opportunities & partnerships amongst Government, Startups, R&D organizations and large enterprises. Digital India futureLABS will be coordinated by C-DAC to provide the dedicated thrust to following key growth areas- Automotive, Compute, Communication, Strategic Electronics and Industrial Electronics/ IoT.
The vision and roadmap of implementation of the Digital India futureLABS is being unveiled by Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Hon'ble Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Jal Shakti, Govt. of India at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi), New Delhi on 03rd February 2024.
